Chapters Transcript Video What are the best contrast reduction tools and techniques you use in your labs? Dr. Karim Al-Azizi describes his approach to reduce the amount of contrast used during an invention and achieve optimal results. D061099-00 There are many tools that an operator can use in their lab in order to reduce the amount of contrast used during an intervention and at the same time, achieve the optimal results. I personally use physiology and imaging guidance uh to intervene on a legion, whether they have CKD Stage two or three or even higher. Um, It is important to use all the tools that you have, including physiology and imaging, um and with the technology of course registration, I think that planning PC I ahead of time and coupling that with imaging, post intervention has significantly cut down on the amount of contrast that can be used in a PC I uh on any given day.
