Left Main disease diagnosis and interventional strategies

Left Main disease assessment and treatment remains a complex and often challenging clinical scenario. Using the appropriate tools to understand the extent of the disease can impact patient outcomes. In this workshop presentation, Dr. Kate Kearny, Assistant Professor of Medicine, Attending Physician, University of Washington, reviews the current evidence and tools for diagnosing and treating left main disease. She describes the limitations of angiography in this unique vessel and how coronary physiology and intravascular imaging can be used to facilitate an accurate diagnosis, aid in determining a precise interventional strategy, and confirm optimal results.
