Dr. Pershad has published extensively in the Chronic Total Occlusion and Complex PCI space and is considered a worldwide expert operator in CTO PCI and complex coronary intervention. His other area of expertise is structural heart disease where he is engaged in clinical research in the fields of transcatheter treatment of valvular heart disease and left atrial appendage occlusion.
For this program, Dr. Pershad will discuss his approach to treating complex patients and how he utilizes state of the art tools such as SyncVision co-registration to help guide his treatment strategies. He will also present his workflow for minimizing contrast in pts with kidney disease while also reducing radiation exposure to his staff and patients.
